How Clients Pay Us
Client’s pay us fees for the services that we provide to them.

Each financial plan provides full details of the costs of recommended services.
- Advisers can offer discounts to clients and may vary the following fees.
- The fees quoted below are current for 2009-10.
Initial Consultations
- Our Advisers will often carry the cost of an initial consultation. if a financial plan is required, a quotation will be supplied. Straight forward financial plans could cost as little as $440.00, however complex plans will cost $1,650.00 or more, depending on the time required to prepare and present them.
One-off Consultations
- Our standard fee for a one-off consultation to be followed with written advice is $330.00
Establishment Fees
- When we buy or sell securities clients pay brokerage for each transaction. Our investment advice and the follow-up paper work is paid for from this brokerage.
- Our standard brokerage rate is $88.00 per transaction with larger transactions costing somewhat more.
On-Going Advice – our Retainer
- We charge a monthly fee called a Retainer which pays for our regular services, and which entitles client’s to ask for additional advice at any time. We may have to provide a quote if the request of advice falls outside of the service agreement that we have with you.
- Our Retainer is fixed, usually for one year. It is paid by a monthly direct debit.
- Our retainer is calculated on a sliding scale of fees, starting at 1.32% pa for smaller portfolios, and falls progressively to a minimum rate of 0.79% pa for portfolios above one million dollars.
Commissions and other Benefits to us
- We do not accept commission that could influence our Advice.
- We are not tied to any financial institution or financial product provider.
- However, we do accept commissions for the administration of cash accounts.
- We attend educational sessions provided by financial institutions where breakfast or lunch is usually provided, gratis.
- We do not accept any other benefits as a result of our recommendations.
